Adam Strand - Attorney at Law
Adam Strand graduated from Seattle University School of Law and was admitted to the state bar in 2014, where he focused on moot court participation, clinical experience, and trial advocacy. After law school, Adam was a law clerk in Snohomish County Superior Court for two (2) years, where he had the opportunity to research and observe a wide variety of legal matters. Adam’s undergraduate studies at Cairn University focused on theology, the construction and interpretation of texts, and how principles can be applied deductively to address any given scenario.
Adam entered private practice in 2016, and focused primarily on dissolution and child custody and support matters. For 3.5 years, he was known for taking on even the most challenging of cases, but also for being reliable and always well-prepared in court.
Largely self-supported, Adam has logged hundreds of appearances in Snohomish, Skagit, Island and local Tribal Courts to present contested motions, and has prepared and presented numerous multi-day trials and arbitrations during his busy practice.  His clients consistently comment on his ability to process a complex dilemma, quickly craft a detailed plan of action that accounts for a variety of potential future developments in the case, and then execute that plan.  Adam believes that taking time to develop and maintain a close relationship with a client is of the utmost importance to success in court.  He is excited to apply both the experience in general civil litigation gained during his clerkship with family law practice experience in a wide variety of legal arenas.
Outside of his practice, Adam enjoys cycling, is an avid chess player, and enjoys foreign language and philology. He has two cats, Max and Moose (pictured).
